Terms of service

These terms cover your use of JourneyProof. Using the service means you accept them. If you are using it for an employer, you are confirming you may accept on their behalf.

Your record is yours

You own the hours, notes, and evidence you enter. We hold them so you can use them. You can export the whole record at any time, and an export is readable without us. We claim no ownership of your content and no right to license it onward.

What a signature means here

A supervisor signature records that a named person attested to a week of hours at a stated time, with the licence details they gave. We verify the link and the timing, not the truth of the claim. A signed week is locked and cannot be edited. A mistake in a signed week is fixed by an amendment that points at the original, never by a silent rewrite.

Not a licence, not legal advice

JourneyProof is not a state board, is not endorsed by one, and does not decide whether your hours qualify. The rule packs are our reading of published requirements and can be wrong or out of date. Check your board requirements yourself before you file.

Your obligations

• Log hours you actually worked, and no others.
• Send signature requests only to supervisors entitled to attest to your work.
• Do not upload content you have no right to, and do not upload other people personal data without a reason to.
• Do not try to reach another worker record, probe the service for weaknesses without asking us first, or resell access.

Accounts and access

Sign-in runs through Clerk. Keep your account secure and tell us promptly at hello@journeyproof.com if you think someone else is using it. A supervisor link is a credential. Anyone holding one can act on that week until it expires or you revoke it.

Plans and payment

The free plan covers logging, signatures, and export. Paid plans are billed in advance and cancel at the end of the period you paid for. Cancelling never deletes your record and never blocks an export.

Availability

The service is provided as it stands, without a warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error free. Our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and nothing here limits liability that the law does not let us limit.

Ending it

Close your account whenever you want. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts other workers records at risk, and we will tell you why. Export first. Deletion follows the schedule on the privacy page.
